ITEP-ABC  Beginning Fall 2018! 

In the Integrated Teacher Education Program - Accelerated Bilingual Credential program, undergraduate students will study to become dual language educators in elementary schools. The ITEP-ABC program offers students a rigorous program of study that entails in-depth content knowledge, foundations of dual language learning, and field experiences in cutting edge dual language schools. Students will have ample opportunities to improve their knowledge of Spanish through courses and field work.

Once accepted to the Liberal Studies major and the ITEP-ABC program, students will complete the requirements for the bachelor's degree, teaching credential, and bilingual authorization. Students entering as freshmen can complete these requirements within four years while those transferring from community college can do so in two years: see program of study options below. As Liberal Studies majors, all ITEP-ABC students will receive the Multiple Subjects content waiver and will study an Option in Spanish.
