Enhance the education of emergent bilinguals, in general, inclusive and/or special education settings, expand understanding of theories and research, develop expertise in exemplary dual language practices and launch initiatives that inspire others. Earn your Bilingual Authorization. Offered in Spanish.
Spanish Bilingual Authorization
Envision the future! Earn your Bilingual Authorization to better instruct and address the needs of emergent bilinguals, promote ways to ensure that students maintain their heritage and language and optimize job opportunities.
MA in Education, Option: Dual Lang.
The program is designed to prepare teacher leaders to examine and refine their own pedagogy and instruction and to promote social justice, through an inquiry approach. Candidates will be eligible for Bilingual Authorization. Offered in Spanish.
ITEP-ABC
Integrated Teacher Education Preparation - Accelerated Bilingual Credential

Step forward and take part in a four-year integrated program leading to a BA in Liberal Studies: Spanish Option and a Multiple Subject Credential with a Bilingual Authorization. Some courses offered in Spanish.

Study Abroad
Educators Abroad provides Multiple and Single Subject teacher candidates an opportunity to complete student teaching in another country. Prospective educators may enroll in a 10 to 16 week school-based experience in Spanish or English to develop their teaching skills in a cultural setting outside the USA. Students interested in this experience need to register one semester prior to student teaching.
